They ran out of their most popular fish dish but the food was fabulous. Highly recommend.

Super recomendado! Todos los platillos estan muy sabrosos ! Con un sazon increíble tienen que vicitar el lugar !!

Tried 4 different dishes all were delicious, best Camarones Borrachos I ever had and the ceviche marinero is of the hook, found my new marisco spot

Secret Society, all we ask is trust! *wink* The restaurant is easy to locate; it's in the backyard of the address listed. Park on Hawthorne Blvd. at 106th Street instead of in the residential neighborhood and walk over. They accept cash or Zelle only, with a mandatory 20% gratuity on parties of 6+. We visited on Saturday, around 5, with a party of 6. Although closing soon, they still served us and let us finish our food past their closing time. This is such a neat setting in Inglewood; I felt like I was eating fresh seafood on an island or in a small town in Mexico. Besides the jets flying by every 5 minutes, the vibes were great. Right when you walk towards the backyard, you are greeted by a hostess and the smell of fresh seafood being grilled. The aroma is heavenly, and the greenery that hugs the yard is an excellent escape from the concrete city just outside of these corridors. Most plates are $20-25, with tacos (3 tacos/plate) and appetizers being around $12. We ordered the Chicharrones de Pezcado tacos, tropical ceviche, and camarones borrachos. My favorite was the shrimp in their garlic and sauce; it was so good! The tropical ceviche comes with raw shrimp in a yummy tangy sauce with mangos! It's so good, especially with homemade tortilla chips. I was skeptical, but this restaurant is incredible. I almost want to keep it a secret, but that's been out of the bag! 5/5 recommend!

I've been coming to this place for years and the food quality and service has never declined. Checo did a great job revamping the backyard area into a nice hangout spot. The only downside is the parking since it is a residential area but it's 100% worth it. Believe me, his food is AMAZING! Anything you order will have your mouth watering. My go to order is camarones langostinos and chicharrón de camarón. It tends to get crowded and wait time may vary but all for good reason. Definitely don't hesitate giving it a try, you won't be disappointed.

Let's get the cons out of the way. This restaurant is in a residential area so there is very limited parking. We parked about a 5 min walk away. Also the restaurant is behind a house and there is very limited signage. We asked a neighbor who was working in his front yeard who pointed is in the right direction a few houses down the street. The minute we found the place it was a 5 star experience. Thankfully we beat the crowd on a Sunday early afternoon. There were two other parties laready seated and we were seated immediately. All the seating is outside but they have a series of umbrellas and tents cover around 2/3rd of the seating. If you come during a busy time you may get stuck in the sun so bring sunscreen or a hat if you're sensitive to sitting in the sun. The waitress was very nice. She answered our questions about the menu, which was heavily in Spanish, and made some recommendations. We got Chicharrones de Pexcado and it was fabulous. 10 out of 10 absolutely recommend. It was the favorite of everyone in the group. Then we got the Green Apple ceviche and an assortment of tacos (shrimp and fish) including Marlin Tacos). Everything was really tasty and I would absolutely recommend checking it out. All the food came out in a reasonable amount of time and was great service sizes for sharing and the cats who were running around were adorable but also stayed a cautious distance from the diners.

Where do I even start. I've live in Inglewood literally down the street and all I hear was people talking about this backyard restaurant. I finally had time to go visit and let me just say WOW. Definitely know why it's underground. The location is cute. It's in the backyard which is very spacious and a little cold bc the beautiful trees block the sun but nothing a little Pacifico can't fix. **Parking is a little tricky on 106 but Hawthorne has plenty of parking so no need to panic. The ambiance was amazing. They had music playing and then a Grupo showed up playing one song for $15 which was great. The vibe was just all there, please support the señores. Now I didn't know what to get to I had to text a few ppl who swear by this place and let me tell you. They weren't lying. The food was bomb.com !!! My friends and I all got something different and let me tell you. I went in wanting something cold and walked out with something hot. I couldn't finish my plate but Damm it was bomb. There is so much flavor in their dishes and the service was fast and cooked to perfection. This place is known for their seafood dishes but have a few non fish options. If you're in the area please come and try it out, hours vary and on Sundays they are busier than usual so plan according ! (:

Tucked away treat - backyard in a neighborhood in Inglewood serving fresh/quality food. Everything I've ordered has always been a hit so trying to slowly work through the menu! It does get incredibly busy on weekends and no reservations so prepare for a wait - but its worth it. They also have live music. Perfect choice for a sunny day in Los Angeles.
